What I’ve been doing last week…

I had many things going on on my plate and I did not devote time to post on my blog. My “To DO” list was big and not to mention… MIXED! Since I don’t enjoy “mixes’ in general and confusion on the other I decided to research for a way to get organized and “clean” my desktop files, which means that I either had to delete what I had already used and did not need any more or move some files to other ones and rename, categorize and let my desktop breathe a little. I used a new (to me) free software to do that that is named EVERNOTE.

My “To DO” list is still BIG!!!

After I had the greatest pleasure to found out that my newly launched blog gained Google Page Rank 3, I was on FIRE. So I thought that it was a great opportunity to start researching in more depth the multiple guest blogging networks and check which of them carry the highest quality of bloggers and content shared.

I can now offer my blog, while having full confidence of providing a great place that other people will be pleased and intrigued to feature their business articles and gain 1 do-follow keyword rich anchor text links back to their websites and the services or products they are promoting. I joined one guest blogging network and I was so excited that yet I haven’t gotten the chance to research for the second one. I posted an entry at the network’s forum stating that I have a new PR3 top online marketing training blog that is  looking to host AWESOME guest posts.

Within the first hour I had 5 offers of other writers/authors/bloggers/webmasters that were looking for BLOGS to post articles on them and spread the word about their business advantages, answer questions that their specific niche market (online marketing training and IT sub-niche) and increase their link popularity and authority of their websites in terms of search engine optimization and Google with their 1 juicy backlink.

What did I get?

5-6 Emails with different guest posting inquiries. And I do not only care about new content, I also care about GREAT content as I have respect for every single visitor new or regular that visits my site. For that reason I was very direct withing my thread’s content and stated what I will accept as well as what I will not accept to be published on my blog.

I then realized once more the fact that when you are sincere and direct (sometimes it might make you look like the bad guy) you will attract what you asked for, serious people with serious intentions, willing to cooperate with you and build relationships that will be based in mutual respect and offering value.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive great posts and feel very well during my communication with all my guest authors. I am still receiving new inquiries and it makes me even more happier.

Aside my online marketing training blog

I decided to travel a bit and fill my batteries! It has been two years since the last time I traveled abroad and the bells have started to ring dangerously. It is also summer and it is very easy to get carried away from work thoughts as much as some of us are attached to our daily schedule and our “To Do” lists. Since I literally have not left my lap top or my emails unread for two years now more than a full day, I guess this will be a whole new experience for me.

I will take my lap top with me and I will challenge myself not to spend more than half an hour just to clear my emails (oh yes, I dislike mountains of unread emails, it scares the hell out of me ) and empty my digital camera with some pictures that I will take so I can take more after that! Whoever knows me is aware that I don’t post personal pictures or many pictures, I am not such  a”picture” person but hey! I am going to Spain, to another country and this alone is definitely worth to take pictures for. Counting days for my vacation and I seriously cannot wait. I know I will miss being here but I will have to go through this and acquire some new experiences for myself.

I will come back and continue my daily schedule plus a with whole new mood. I wish you have a great time while  won’t be here posting and I will catch you up laters. When other people ask me to guest post is a great honor as well as receiving inquiries to feature other people’s great content.
