The more the blogging tips you expose yourself to the more possible it is to filter the information you need to initiate your online marketing plan!

Blogging Tips For Beginners

1. Choose a niche that you are interested in plus there is enough demand on the market for information

Blogging Tips For BeginnersAsk yourself: Would people pay to get the information you plan to offer?

There are unlimited areas of interests that you can get involved in. Some niches are already very saturated and highly competitive. There are already many expert authors, writers and gurus that already offer resourceful and problem solving information to a global internet audience that trusts them, reads them and follows their updates. If you are asking yourself if you should consider not entering a niche like that the answer will be given by you if you reply to the questions:

  • How Badly Do I Want To Succeed in This Niche
  • Will I Have a Distinctive Voice To Offer To My Audience that will make me visible and trusted enough to outrank the big gurus in the industry

How you will employ these blogging tips, depends on the way you see things, if you thing big and have great self confidence, passion, eagerness and expertise that others will appreciate then GO FOR IT! Do not let anyone tell you that it is impossible to do it on your own!

As a starter I was told that it is impossible to get my website on top page of Google and that only the big guys that pay the big bucks can see themselves there. I even paid a company to take charge of the SEO part of my website. They weren’t exactly delivering the results they claimed though….

2. Keep Up With Your Niche’s Developments Thoroughly

Stay focused on the niche you are targeting and keep track of the latest news and developments that are occurring, craft you own way of offering these with your own words in a matter that others will find value in and will make them want to come back for more on your blog. It is a fact that you don’t need to know everything about anything.

Nevertheless, for the specific niche you have chosen to launch your blog for you should do your best to know as more as you can and keep educating yourself everyday. Transform the new knowledge into readable information providing solutions to specific questions. Next blogging tips are about frequency and consistency of your posts.

I think I did all of them except for the 3rd one. Actually I post my contents less often since I cant keep up with my schedule though. More often, I seek for the help of guest bloggers over time. And ohh by the way, this one’s a great read Jo ! :)

Hi Argie, I know, I am telling the same thing to myself that I should post more often and keep up with other activities online as well. It’s a must I think to be self disciplined on the frequency we release content on our self owned blogs and not only ;) .

Thanks a lot for your comment, I am glad you enjoyed my post.

I’ve been blogging for over three years now and the biggest tip I’ve ever learned is you never stop learning. Simply for your article I’ve learned and opened my mind to new ideas and perhaps have even been inspired.

I think having an open mind to other ideas and opinions is so important in the blogosphere. I don’t know if blogging tips can ever be for beginners. I think some of what you mentioned in this article could be used by used by some Pro bloggers.

Welcome to the blog engage community Joanna I think you’re going to fit in just perfectly.

      Hello from here too Brian!

Thanks for your valuable comment, greatly appreciated, yes we need to be as open as we can to ongoing education when it comes to our online aspirations and things we generally love and care for, we need to become always better than what we currently are.

If we don’t grow we go backwards, we are not remaining steady at one point.

That said, there is only one choice and that is “To Always Grow”!

      Good week!

I think getting social on the web is the biggest piece of advice you’re giving here. Knowing who you want to reach is also VERY important. I think one should write more than two posts a week if you really want to have any success.

Hi Ivin! I agree with you, we need to establish which our audience and target market will be prior launching a business blog. Yes the number 2 is the least acceptable quantity for weekly posts. Thanks for your added thoughts! Greatly appreciated. Have a great rest of the day.

Hi Nhut Le, welcome to my blog, yes I agree with you.

It’s very important to love the niche you enter. Especially when you first start and you are not so experienced on how to do the online marketing and apply the proper search engine optimization techniques in order to acquire top Google page rankings and achieve that soon enough, it’s best to choose a niche that has reasonable competition.

BUT, if you are experienced enough to know how to do the aforementioned, whatever the competition is and no matter how saturated the market is already with other top gurus, a determined and serious web business manager should not be afraid of any of the above.

I have managed to get my sites on top page of Google pretty soon for fiercely competitive high paying niches so I can definitely say that I have left fear behind ;)

There is nothing to fear when you are determined, hard working and knowledgeable of course so you really know what you are doing and can offer resources people are eager to absorb and will always benefit from.

Thanks for dropping by, nice to connect here on my new blog.

    Good day,

What new user typically forget about is…. their blog. A lot of user are usually all about it the first week, two weeks but after that they typically forget to keep going or lose that drive to keep coming up with new ideas. I’ve found that setting myself a nice little reminder for every monday, wednesday, friday and sunday to go to my blog/site and put up something new.
